# Introduction to QuantNomad Docs

> What QuantNomad indicators are, how this documentation is organized, and where to start.

QuantNomad builds indicators for [TradingView](https://www.tradingview.com/). This site is the official documentation for those indicators: how to install them, what their settings do, how to read their signals, and how to turn those signals into alerts.

## Free and premium indicators

QuantNomad indicators come in two forms:

> [card] [Free indicators](https://docs.quantnomad.com/free-indicators/overview.md)
>
> Published openly on TradingView. Anyone can add them to a chart and read the Pine Script source code. Example: **UT Bot v2**.

> [card] [Premium indicators](https://docs.quantnomad.com/premium-indicators/overview.md)
>
> Sold as a TradingView **Paid Space** subscription that gives your account access to invite-only scripts. Example: **UT Bot Suite**.

Not sure which one fits your needs? See [Free vs Premium](https://docs.quantnomad.com/premium-indicators/comparison.md).

## How this documentation is organized

| Section | What you'll find |
| - | - |

| [Free Indicators](https://docs.quantnomad.com/free-indicators/overview.md) | Full documentation for each free indicator |
| [Premium Indicators](https://docs.quantnomad.com/premium-indicators/overview.md) | Access, installation, features, and settings for premium indicators |
| [Guides](https://docs.quantnomad.com/guides/indicator-signals.md) | Short practical guides on signals, ATR, alerts, and webhooks |
| [Help & Support](https://docs.quantnomad.com/support/faq.md) | FAQ, troubleshooting, access help, and contact options |
| [Changelog](https://docs.quantnomad.com/changelog/index.md) | Release notes for indicators and documentation |

> [!TIP]
>
> Pages often mix two kinds of information: **general TradingView behavior** (how alerts or the Indicators dialog work) and **QuantNomad-specific details** (what a particular setting does). General TradingView sections are marked so you can tell them apart.

## What you need

* A [TradingView](https://www.tradingview.com/) account. Free indicators work on any plan. Some TradingView features, such as webhook alerts or a larger number of active alerts, depend on your TradingView plan.
* For premium indicators, an active subscription on your TradingView account. See [Premium Indicator Access](https://docs.quantnomad.com/support/premium-access.md).
