UT Bot Pro signals

UT Bot Pro tracks a UT trend state: up while price is above the trailing stop, down while it’s below. A trend flip is the starting point for every signal. The Entry Engine and optional HTF filter then decide whether that flip becomes an entry.

Pending verification: the exact appearance of UT Bot Pro's markers and whether markers follow the selected entry mode or the raw trend flip. This section will be completed once it is confirmed against the indicator’s source code or official product information. Until then, rely on the indicator’s own settings panel inside TradingView.

Filtering signals with entry modes

Entry modes act as filters on trend flips. Each trades responsiveness for confirmation:
Touch / Stop Order triggers on the stop level without waiting for the bar to close. Unlike the close-based modes, a touch can happen and price can then close back on the other side of the stop. See Confirmed vs Unconfirmed Signals.

Higher-timeframe filter

With Use HTF Confirmation on, UT Bot Pro calculates the UT state independently on the Higher Timeframe (4 hours by default), using the same stop settings:
  • Long entries are only taken while the HTF state is bullish.
  • Short entries are only taken while the HTF state is bearish.
This removes entries against the higher-timeframe trend, at the cost of missing early reversals that haven’t yet shown up on the higher timeframe.
Pick a higher timeframe that’s meaningfully larger than your chart’s, for example a 4-hour filter on a 15-minute or 1-hour chart.

Adaptive multiplier

The adaptive multiplier isn’t a filter, but it changes signal frequency. Based on the Efficiency Ratio, the multiplier moves between Min Mult and max Mult, which changes how far price must move to flip the trend. See Adaptive Multiplier.

Screener filters

The Ultimate UT Bot Screener filters symbols, not signals.
1

Choose the columns

Under Columns Arrangement, pick the data columns you want in slots 02–06.
2

Enable a filter

Under Columns Filtering, tick Filter [NN] for the column you want to filter, and set the minimum and maximum values.
3

Sort the table

Under Sorting Columns, choose a column in Sort Table By and a Sorting Order.
Matching cells are highlighted with the Highligh Filtred Cells color. Example uses:
  • Filter Profit Factor to a minimum value to focus on symbols where UT Bot has held up historically, keeping in mind this is past data.
  • Sort by Move To Revert to see which symbols are closest to a signal change on the current bar.

Signal confirmation

  • UT Bot Pro, close-based entry modes: signals are confirmed by a bar close.
  • UT Bot Pro, Touch / Stop Order: entries can trigger intrabar.
  • Screener: Move To Revert and Revert Prob describe the current, still-forming bar, so their values change until the bar closes.
