Both UT Bot Suite scripts send alerts through TradingView’s alert() function calls. UT Bot Pro, as a strategy, can also send order fill alerts.

UT Bot Pro alerts

Pending verification: the exact UT Bot Pro alert() messages and when each fires. This section will be completed once it is confirmed against the indicator’s source code or official product information. Until then, rely on the indicator’s own settings panel inside TradingView.

Create a UT Bot Pro alert

1

Set up the chart

Open the symbol and timeframe to monitor, with UT Bot Pro configured as you want.
2

Open Create Alert

Click the Alert button or press Alt + A (Option + A on macOS).
3

Choose the condition

In Condition, select UT Bot Pro, then alert() function calls only for the script’s own messages, or Order fills only for a custom message.
4

Notifications

Choose notifications (app, pop-up, email, webhook) and click Create.
Create Alert dialog with UT Bot Pro selected

Create Alert dialog with UT Bot Pro selected

Choosing Order fills and alert() function calls sends both kinds of alert, which can mean duplicate notifications for the same signal.

Custom messages with order fills

Order fill alerts let you write your own message using strategy placeholders:
Order fill alerts follow the strategy’s actual orders, so they reflect your Entry Mode, Exit Mode, and HTF filter. They also respect the backtest date range: with the range on, no orders, and so no order fill alerts, happen after the End Date (2030-01-01 by default).

Ultimate UT Bot Screener alerts

The Screener sends alerts about the symbols in its table. Alerts Type controls the content: To create one, open Create Alert, select Ultimate UT Bot Screener as the condition, choose Any alert() function call, and click Create.
Pending verification: exactly which events trigger Screener alerts (for example, new UT signals or filter matches) and the message format. This section will be completed once it is confirmed against the indicator’s source code or official product information. Until then, rely on the indicator’s own settings panel inside TradingView.

Automation with webhooks

General TradingView information. This section describes standard TradingView behavior, not a QuantNomad-specific feature. TradingView updates its interface regularly, so menu names and positions may differ slightly from what you see. When in doubt, check the TradingView Help Center.
1

Get a webhook URL

From the receiving service, such as a bot platform or your own server.
2

Pick the alert source

For a custom format, use UT Bot Pro order fill alerts with a JSON message like the one above.
3

Attach the webhook

In the alert’s Notifications tab, enable Webhook URL and paste the URL.
4

Test before going live

Send alerts to a test endpoint or paper-trading account first, and check each message is received and parsed correctly.
Automation amplifies mistakes. A wrong message format, duplicate alerts, or an intrabar entry mode can all result in unintended orders. Test thoroughly and monitor your automation.
See Webhook Alerts & Automation for requirements and security practices.
